About the Forum

El Foro Internacional de Justicia Ambiental, que se realiza cada dos año, constituye el mayor evento de su tipo en Chile, y es uno de los principales de la Región.

Este encuentro ha sido ideado y organizado por el Segundo Tribunal Ambiental, con asiento en Santiago, con el objeto de enriquecer el debate en materia de justicia ambiental y está orientado a magistrados de tribunales superiores, constitucionales, ambientales, académicos y especialistas en materias vinculadas a la Justicia Ambiental y las distintas expresiones del Derecho Ambiental, a nivel nacional como internacional.

Las ediciones de 2014, 2016 y 2018 lograron convocar como expositores a Jueces, académicos y destacados profesionales del mundo ambiental, provenientes de países como Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brasil, Canadá, Colombia, Costa Rica, España, Estados Unidos, Francia, Nueva Zelanda, Perú, Suecia y Chile. Asimismo, cada jornada del encuentro ha congregado a más de 200 profesionales del derecho y otras disciplinas ligados a desarrollo de la justicia ambiental en el país.
The International Environmental Justice Forum, held every two years, is the largest event of its kind in Chile, and is one of the main in the Region.

This meeting has been devised and organized by the Second Environmental Court, based in Santiago, in order to enrich the debate on environmental justice and is aimed at magistrates of higher, constitutional, environmental, academic courts and specialists in matters related to Environmental Justice and the different expressions of Environmental Law, nationally and internationally.

The 2014, 2016 and 2018 editions managed to summon as exhibitors Judges, academics and prominent professionals from the environmental world, from countries such as Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Spain, United States, France, New Zealand, Peru, Sweden and Chile. Likewise, the two days in which the meeting takes place have brought together more than 200 professionals of the law and other disciplines linked to the development of environmental justice in the country.
